It is immensely important to eat healthily especially during your postpartum period. We’ve previously shared about the benefits of Salmon and Avocado. We’re back to recommend another food: Mushroom!

If you’re not aware of mushroom’s goodness, here are 3 benefits of Mushroom. 😊

1. High in Vitamin D

Vitamin D is crucial because it helps regulate calcium in your body. You require a lot of calcium to maintain a healthy bone especially when you are still breastfeeding your little one(s).

Mushrooms are rich in potassium and low in sodium. This will really improve your heart health.

3. Lowers health condition risk

Mushrooms has fibers in them that can improve overall health and boost your immune system and lowers risks of health conditions such as Diabetes and Alzheimer’s.

There are different kinds of mushroom that you can get your hands on. If you don’t like a particular kind of mushroom, there will still be others for you to choose from. Just take note that different mushrooms have different level of Vitamin D, potassium, etc. Explore and eat the mushroom of your choice!
